Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!

Today has been a rough one. Work has been challenging at best. After work, I scramble to get all of the errands run before picking Zach up from school. It's hard to find time to fit it all in. I am going to be so happy once he gets his own car!!!! My day is far from over. I need to hurry and get dressed and go to a child's baptism. I am playing the piano for her. Sweet little girl with big, brown, puppy dog eyes. How can I say no to such innocence? After the meeting, I will run by the hospital to see my favorite bishop in the world! He had surgery on Tuesday and I just want to pop in and make sure he and his wife are doing ok. They are the sweetest people on the face of the earth. After all of that...I finally get to come home, do a couple of loads of clothes, clean the kitchen and crawl in bed and sleep for a few hours before it all starts again. I can't begin to describe my euphoria at the idea of a long 3 day weekend. Can I hear a big ol' ' HeckYeah' on that one?!!!

What happened to our summer vacation?

School and early morning Seminary has begun once again. This is Zach's last year for both. Why does this hurt my heart so much? Shouldn't I be excited that it's my last year to wake up at 4:30 to begin my day? Maybe in a few weeks I'll be shouting 'Heck, yeah' but for now I'm sulking. I need to cut those apron strings not be reinforcing them with steel!!!!

It's official!

Surprise, surprise, surprise....I am finally becoming a blogger! Big improvement. It seems as if I am always the last to try anything new when it comes to modern technology. The time seems right to keep in touch with our friends and family across the country. Hopefully this journal will keep you abreast of what is happening in our family's life. I invite you to write me and let me hear about you and your family. Can't wait to hear from you.
