Baby it's cold outside....

It's getting a little chilly here. It actually dropped to 56 degrees this afternoon!!!! WahoooooooO! I am so excited. It's finally starting to feel like Christmas!
Do you ever just wish that you could step inside the world of pictures inside a children's story where everything is calm and peaceful? I am having one of those moments. Looking at pics like this make me want to just step inside of that reality. Pictures like these make me think back to the magic of Christmas when I was a little girl. I love Christmas!

It's been awhile...sorry. Life has caught up with me and things are getting behind. I finally have the lights up, the tree decorated and the living room and dining room tricked out. Tony often refers to it as the North Pole regurgitated! Funny, funny man.

My life is reduced to this....

Not so cute and cuddly, right?????

Possums. Cute, furry little critters, right? I always thought so. They are supposedly dangerous due to the possible bacteria they have floating around and inside them. They are also reportedly

timid little critters that play dead at the first sign of attack. WRONG!!!! I am here to tell you that these little fellers are VISCIOUS!!!!! We have had a BIG ol' possum running around our backyard for the last couple of weeks. My Bailey girl is losing her ever loving mind. Late into the night, she will hear it rattling around in the bushes and on the fence and start pacing the bed. She has even sat on our heads and licked us repeatedly attempting to wake us up and let her have a go at the vile creature. Oh...but we are on to her little tricks. We don't let her anywhere near that heinous thing. Today we learned that our little precious baby is on to us...she completely faked us out this morning at 4:30 AM (Yes, I did say AM) She acted as if she needed to potty. However, she took off running full speed attempting to obliterate the possum.

Her calm, cool, collected Momma lost her mind. I was shouting and screaming for anyone within a two mile radius to come and help her collect her precious baby before that big ol evil creature could put one scratch on her sweet girl. Needless to say...after waking the neighborhood, Bailey girl was saved...but I still have the wretched Possum living in the backyard. Of course this means war. We will see who wins this little battle!

There's my Bailey girl!!!!

Awwwwww....isn't she sweet??!?

A little bit of cool weather and my faithful companion heads for the covers. I found her snuggled up propped on pillows one cool, crisp morning. What a wimp!!!!
(Please do not look at the white stains on the pillows. It's nothing kinky. It's actually baby butt medicine I put on my zits at night. Isn't THAT attractive? And no....no pictures will be permitted for that lovely shot!)

The most wonderful time of the year!!!!

This is the sweetheart I promised to love, honor and cherish all the days of my life. Gosh...I just get so choked up with love whenever I look at this picture!!!!
There he is...that's my boy! He makes his mamma soooooo proud. Ooooh boy!!!!!

This lovely mannequin man actually hung in my entrance way for over two weeks. I am wondering why the state mental agency hasn't come and interviewed my boys. They can't be sane! (Sorry for the foggy picture. This was taken when the fog machine was in full action!)

Here issssssss Johnny! Our own wonderful mannequin man. Placed in an actual morgue body bag. That's it. We are going to hell!

No haunted house is complete without a demented bloody baby, right?

Just a few of the props. Can you believe we have so much gore in our home??? Sick people!

This couch is brought to you by Craigs List. Oh the joys of the word 'Free'. Needless to say...it was pretty stained and downright scary all by itself. We didn't handle this baby without gloves!

It's getting closer to completion. Can't you just feel the excitement??!?!?

Building a dream takes a lot of work! Tony is tired physically but he would do this 24/7 if he could. He loves doing this type of thing.

The beginning of the haunted house. Oh...what a few nails and plywood will do!

Halloween has come and gone...but the memories still live on. The boys had an absolute riot scaring the life out of children and adults alike. There was one funny experience where a man went into the haunted house with 3 children under the age of six. He became so scared that he ran screaming out of the structure. When his wife saw him, she asked him where were the kids?
He said he wasn't sure but that she would have to go in and get them. Needless to say...the kids came out running and crying. There is no mercy in the haunted house built by Kiser & Guse.
They had to run the water hose down the driveway. They always know it's a hit when someone pees in their pants! Sad, pitiful men!

Ok. Ok. Ok. I am a bad girl. I haven't updated my blog in eons of time. But I do have a valid excuse. My son and husband occupy the computer day and night. Needless to say that I am anxiously awaiting Christmas for a new computer in the house. How many computers can a family of three really need???? Alright...I live in the dark ages. I have friends and family that have as many as three to four computers in one household. Geeze Louise!!!! I am so excited that I have some free time tonight. I will try to bring everyone back up to date on the latest happenings in Kiserland. :)
